I'm glad you're here, that you want to take the natural route for the fitness, youth, and elasticity of your face, just as you do for the maintenance of your body and soul.
With regular (2x1 hour per week) facial exercises:
After the age of 27, as the collagen production get weaker and with the gradual desertification of the body, the condition of the muscles and connective tissues deteriorates, gravity is not good for the skin of our face, just as we cannot hide or protect it sufficiently from extreme weather. We also affect it with our diet, with unrefreshing sleep, hormonal changes can also leave traces, stress is not good either, ingrained facial expressions also leave traces on the skin, ...
- in the preventive phase, the onset of aging can be postponed
- At the age of 30s- they can still remove their smaller wrinkles, they can pull back the sagging side of the face, they can smooth out the circles under their eyes, and they can shrinken their double chin
- At the age of 40 - the deepening nasolabial fold and crow's feet fade, the downward-curving corner of the mouth curls up higher, the circles under the eyes fill in, the double chin becomes firmer, the signs of withering are less and less present, the face blooms. The youthful contours appear.
- At the age of 50 and 60- the wrinkles above the lip can be faded, the wrinkles on the forehead and the depth of the nasolabial fold can also be reduced. The tiredness disappears from the face, the sagging side parts rise higher.
- we can generally postpone aging by 10-15 years, we can slow down the passage of time with natural means, including by training the facial muscles.
This fantastic method, branded with the name of Márta Bojtor, has been around for many, many years. It is a clear training method that maximally encompasses the muscles of the face and neck, where, contrary to popular belief, the building and flexibility of the facial muscles is done with hard, sometimes painful muscle work - just like training the body in the gym, if you think about it carefully. Since we cannot use momentum and dumbbells here, we work with slow muscle work and strong tension, adhering to the bone. Its specialty is the twisting of muscle fibers during training.
During the 16 sessions beginners' course (2x1 hour for 8 weeks), slight changes can already be observed:
- the skin of the face have a more beautiful, healthier color, and the face will have a more rested look
- the large pores become smaller
- the feeling / appearance of a puffy face in the morning gets reduced by the increased circulation
- the swelling and dark circles under the eyes get reduced by increasing lymphatic circulation
- the drooping eyelid may already be lifted a little
- the crow's feet may fade
It is worth working with a trainer for 5-6 months, because it takes about this long for the face to recover with regular (2 times a week) exercises (as a trainer, I myself do facial exercises under the guidance of a trainer). You don't have to invent the exercise and have someone else set the limits of the load for you, other than yourself, correct mistakes if necessary, and you can also gain a sufficient routine so that you can exercise in a variety of ways at home.
Facial exercise is also a great "Me time" where you can exercise inwardly, paying attention to yourself, and switch off.
When facial exercises not recommended?
* It is not recommended to start over 70 years of age (if you are ready for it, you can continue), * in case of untreated high blood pressure, * in case of severe rosacea, * in case of glaucoma, * after stroke, * immediately after botox treatment, * immediately after dental and oral surgery procedures * if you have eye, jaw joint, larynx, vertebra, facial nerve, thyroid problems, in case of plastic surgery affecting the facial muscles, consult your doctor and let your trainer know!
I only undertake healthy face training, in all other cases it is necessary to contact a physiotherapist.
